Weak in the Knees

Weak in the Knees

Dear Maureen and Shannon,

It seemed like Evie, Vikki and Sam prayed lengthy prayers because they were on the battle side a long time sometimes! But on the real-life side they could be sitting there drinking coffee! I’ve struggled with how to pray more in my daily life. I like the idea of going to war in prayer, but I can’t even go to the bathroom alone, let alone the real throne room, let alone a battlefield. How do you and your sister find time for real prayer in your life- not just “thank you” and “give me” prayers? I really would like to understand this weapon that I have in my arsenal to fight for my family and friends. Thank you for any tips.

Sincerely,
Weak in the Knees

Dear Maureen and Shannon,

I’ve started reading your book and am intrigued by the friendships of Evie (how do you pronounce her name anyway?), Sam and Vicki. They each seem so different yet fit together perfectly. Do they represent real people in your lives? How do I find friends like them? I feel like I should replace the ones I currently have.

Signed,
Mostly Friendless
